Ivoclar's director of education and professional services North America Shashi Singhal, BDS, MS, explains what makes the e.max ZirCAD Prime block a great choice for restorations requiring both strength and esthetics.

Video Transcript:

Greetings everyone. My name is Dr. Shashi Singhal. I work as a director of education and professional services North America. I'm really excited to be at the Midwinter Meeting and I would like to share our latest innovation in our zirconia block portfolio that is IPS e.max ZirCAD Prime block.

Selecting a right zirconia material in the clinical situation is not an easy task. Because of multiple different reasons we do have 3Y zirconias, we have 4Y zirconias, and we have 5Y zirconias. The 3Y is the strongest, but it does not give you the same translucency whereas your 5Y is not that strong, but as it is more translucent. In regards to the 4Y, it does have the properties of both the 3Y and the 5Y, so the strength is in between your 3Y and the 5Y, and also the translucency is in between the 3Y and the 5Y.

However, if you will have a product that will give you the strength and the translucency together that will be the best for the clinical situation. And here comes our innovation that is IPS e.max ZirCAD Prime block. It does have two different powders, in which you will have the 3Y zirconia in the dentin core, whereas your 5Y zirconia is in the incisal area. So, you will able to have the strength from your 3Y whereas you can have a translucency from your 5Y zirconia.

In addition to that, we want to save chairside time. IPS e.max ZirCAD Prime is one of the fastest blocks on the market. You will able to sinter that block with your CS6 furnace in only 15 minutes. So with this particular product, you will have strength you will have esthetics and then at the same time, you will also have the speed.

If you haven't tried it, I will strongly recommend you to try this product, and I'm confident that you will definitely like it and you will have a good clinical success. If you will have any questions feel free to reach out to any of your Ivoclar representatives. And we will be more than happy to support you.

On that note, I really appreciate your time. Thank you so much. And again this is Dr. Shashi from Ivoclar North America. Thank you.
