July 2008 Technology Guide
Tech Source Guide  | Sandblasters

Blast Off

The abrasive blaster has a distinct Jekyll/Hyde personality: It can be used for fast gross-removal of investment material from rings, then turn around and gently roughen metal surfaces for finishing. Depending on the media used and the air pressure settings, it’s a lion or a lamb. But either way, it’s certainly versatile.
