March 2009 | Dental Lab Products Cendres+Métaux, Metalor Dental merge The Cendres+Métaux Group of Biel-Bienne, Switzerland, has merged with Metalor Dental, based in Oensingen, Switzerland, reinforcing its market position in the area of dental medicine. “With this merger, we can substantially broaden our range of products and optimally unite the strengths of two very healthy Swiss companies,” said Peter Häsler, CEO of Cendres+Métaux. “Our customers will profit from an attractive and comprehensive product portfolio, a wide distribution network, and excellent services. All products will continue to be manufactured in Switzerland in the future.” Cendres+Métaux is a world leader in the production and marketing of attachments for the production of dentures. Cendres+Métaux products are distributed in the United States through Sterngold, Vident, and Attachments International, while Metalor Dental has a U.S. subsidiary in North Attleboro, Mass.
Argen, Imagen form partnership The Argen Corp., a world leader in gold manufacturing, and Imagen LLC, gold CAD/CAM machine manufacturer and coping supplier, announced an exclusive manufacturing and supply agreement. nSequence relaunches Web site to improve digital connectivity The nSequence Center for Advanced Dentistry has relaunched its interactive Web site (www.n-sequence.com) to accommodate the rapid shift to digital dentistry used by dental practices and laboratories. The new site features enhanced connectivity for electronic case submissions and communication with dentist-clients as well as a robust platform for sharing information that allows better management of the “digital lifecycle” of the patient, including online case collaboration, review of CT models, guide manufacturing, and virtual planning.
